About tarkovdb
What this is
tarkovdb tracks Escape from Tarkov item prices, ammunition ballistics, quests, hideout costs and barters. Prices refresh every 30 minutes and static game data every six hours. Every page is server-rendered, so it loads on a phone between raids.
Data sources
- Game data and item images come from tarkov.dev, a community-run open API. Item images are served from their CDN.
- Price history beyond what tarkov.dev retains is our own archive, collected continuously and tagged by wipe or season.
- Wipe and season dates are announced by Battlestate Games and recorded here by hand, with sources. Entries before patch 0.14 are community-recorded and may be a day out; they are marked as such.
- Map artwork by the-hideout/tarkov-dev-svg-maps, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Our modifications are shared under the same licence.
How we handle uncertainty
Numbers we do not have are shown as an em dash, never as zero. An item with no market price is unknown, not free.
Barter and craft profits are only ranked when every input can be priced. Anything unpriceable is listed separately rather than shown as pure profit.
Ammunition effectiveness is published as bands, not hit percentages. The real in-game penetration roll depends on the armour plate's remaining durability, its material and the angle of the hit, and we do not have a verified copy of that formula. We would rather give you a defensible band than an invented decimal.
What we do not do
We do not read, extract from, or redistribute Escape from Tarkov game client files. Everything here is numeric stats, prices and names sourced from public community APIs.
