Escape from Tarkov no longer has forced wipes.
Since the 1.0 launch on 15 November 2025, your PMC, stash, hideout and Kappa container are permanent in both PvP and PvE. Progression resets now happen through opt-in seasonal characters — a separate profile you choose to start. Your main account is never touched.
The current season is Season 1 — Kord Breach, which started 2026-08-03 with patch 1.1.0.0 — 12 days ago. Joining it is optional.

Is there still a wipe in Escape from Tarkov?
No. The last forced wipe was 1.0 launch — the last forced wipe on 2025-11-15. Since the 1.0 launch your PMC, stash, hideout and Kappa container are permanent in both PvP and PvE.
What replaced wipes?
Opt-in seasons. A season gives you a separate, fresh seasonal character while your main account is left completely untouched. Joining is a choice — ignoring a season costs you nothing on your main profile.
